Bistro Table

This table was designed for the intent of a high end coffee shop or a fun nook for coffee in a personal house.

For this table, I wanted something funky, but also clean. I decided the table would only be for two guests. This allowed me to play with two sides of the table with no regard for leg room.

I really like the contrast between dark and light on this piece. I enjoy that polarity in both color and shape. The table is also quite airy, which was challenging. The vertical pieces of cherry are internalized with steel to ensure strength and longevity.

The black sections are glossy black painted steel. The wood is cherry finished with glossy tung oil.
